Our Team

Jill Ahrens is the Founder and Principal of Argent Pictures. Her credits include Executive Producer of "Chasing Coral" (directed by Jeff Orlowsky and 2017 Sundance Film Festival Audience Selection winner), Executive Producer of Nate Parker's "The Birth of a Nation" (2016 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize and Audience Selection winner), Executive Producer of "Amateur" (directed by Ryan Koo, distributed by Netflix) and Co-Executive Producer of "American Made" (directed by Doug Liman, starring Tom Cruise). Argent Pictures was also a producing partner of "Hacksaw Ridge" (directed by Mel Gibson, starring Andrew Garfield).

Prior to Argent, Jill managed a real estate development company, specializing in multifamily housing. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma and received her B.A. in Economics from the University of Puget Sound.
